The last stock I remember vividly that was halted after an "empty" press release was called AVCO. It closed at about 29 15/16, and then after the press release was digested by Nasdaq, and the market, the stock opened under 5.00.

It took a day or so, like we have now, a day or so.

We will see.. I trade the futures too. and I have learned the hard way to wait and see how the pattern plays out before impulsively fading the spike.. There's always time to get on board... And like I mentioned.. The last couple of years have changed the dynamics of the markets...
