Hi donkey-dude,

Your comment:

<<When Inco bought Voisey Bay how much Nickel was estimated to be there at that time.?? How much Nickel would you estimate (roughly) has been uncovered there in total todate (Nov.1999) with all that drilling that's been steadily going on.?? Thanks. What do the rest of you estimate.??>>

Please check my last reply to nickel, it gives my recollection of all the reserve and resource estimates.

I really don't think the reserve or resource numbers are very important. Voisey's Bay (with Kidd Creek and Noril'sk) is one of the greatest mineral finds of the 20th Century--it's world class. It will go into production and it will further hurt the hopes for OZ- and PNG-dry-laterites.

A World-class orebody has two definitions:

1) When world class ore-bodies are put into production it affects the world-wide price of its primary commodity; and,

2) An orebody so good that even management, politicians, and environmentalists can't f... it up is called "world-class".

Voisey's is proving to be "world-class" by either definition <grin>.

Best Regards, T.
