I believe the hope when the Voisey Bay property was purchased in August 1996 that there might eventually be 150 million tonnes of potential ore. The specific definitions between reserves, resources and mineralized material are determined by many factors depending on proximity to other minable areas, depth, economics etc. To date I believe they have announced 128 million tonnes. But remember when you are negotiating there isn't a tremendous incentive to increase the gross tonnage. Also the decline in nickel prices over the last several years would have made certain potential ore uneconomic. The initial deal with Diamond Fields called for a total exploration expenditure of $80 million US(?) and that has been expended as of last December.Plus the announcement of additional exploration last August is quite positive I believe.
