No nurses or aids today. She got me up at midnight and I've been running since. Cut back her drugs and made her roll out and watch TV. The mental stimulation didn't hurt. I'll put her to sleep in a bit and have lunch.

Got her a new brace today, the one the doctor wanted in the first place. Why she wanted the other one that caused her all the problems I ain't got a clue. Hopefully she can sleep at night and get off the drugs. Lots of bad road ahead.

The doctor said today if the break had been a little worse he'd have to cut her leg off.
