Hello all,

I'm somewhat lost by the reorganization announcements ...

> Novell announced earlier this week that it had named Steve Adams as
> vice president of global marketing.

I thought that Adams had been brought in to straighten out the "In-the-net" team, and to help drive the projects which were not in the main product groups at Novell ...

Does this mean that the "In-the-net" organization has been rolled into the standard product group at Novell? Does this mean that the innovation and idea of a different organization to pursue new ideas is dead? Is someone just making the move to grab the stuff and pull it back into the same-ol' same-ol' product organization?

> Adams, who will oversee Novell's channel partner relationships,
> among other duties, says he plans to "focus on packaging and
> positioning of Novell as a company" in the coming year.

Hmmm ... so who's the "out of the box" thinker who's going to drive the new ideas at Novell?
