Heinz, looking at the vix, it tagged the lower band last Friday when we had record cboe equity calls, which i believe was the top of wave three in the nasdaq (which ended on the gap open on monday)

timely.com

we are now in what looks like an abc correction in the vix, i believe we will have to go back and tag or go thru the lower band before we put in the top. It may take until eom window dressing is done, unless there is some wacko spike on monday.

Just heard yet another analysts say this is a new era -g-

Heinz,

CNBC just reported that U.S. dollar is down about 2.5 today versus the yen, about 1.01 yen/dollar, wages were up 1.3% in month of October instead of expected 0.6%, and bond is at 6.23%. With news like that, why is the market still going up? To me the drop in the dollar is a wake up call to the market, it is almost at par with the yen. If AG sees things deteriorating like this, what are the chances he will raise rates again at the next FOMC meeting?
