Badkarma, it seems that you hate Christianity. But other religions are OK. I'm I correct in assuming that?

Badkarma, there is a good sized Islam community in the area I live. You're from Florida, so I'm sure you are familiar with the Tampa bay area. Anyhow, many times when I am doing my grocery shopping I see many of the women of Islam in the stores. They wear the traditional dress, with head covered, etc. And although I'm of a different religion, I respect these women for following their beliefs, just as I follow mine. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that in any religion, or other group of people, for that matter, there are going to be some people who are sincere, and some who are corrupt. To lump people into a stereotype, is a form of prejudice. And it seems that you are prejudiced against Christians. I'm curious to understand why you have so much hatred toward Christians, but seem to be tolerant of other religions?

BK. the Crusades and the Inquisition did not happen in the New Testament. You failed to grasp the point I was making. The Crusades was a foolish mistake based on over-zealous beliefs. The Inquisition was a tragedy inflicted on innocent people who chose not to adhere to the Catholic dogma. It was a crime, sure enough, and a breach of faith by those who did it. The New Testament does not advocate any sort of violence, so I am NOT the one that is misinformed. Now you are blaming the Christian Faith for the crimes of individuals. Do you respect these individuals??

Before I posted the info about hinduism and buddhism, I looked it up in the encyclopedia. Are the Encyclopedia Britannica, and the Compton's Encyclopedia wrong?? That would be a bit presumptuous of you. Now, who has the lack of knowledge?? What have you been reading?? Novels? TD
