I just received this weeks copy of Business Week which contains a short article on our favorite
Compaq basher and his relationship with e-Machines. The article says that Kumar downgraded
e-Machines after his company was refused participation in their underwriting business. He had been
praising e-Machines prior to the rejection, which occured on May 10, 1999. On June 1 he came out
with a downgrade of e-Machines and vilified them for their performance. The CEO of e-Machines said
this is a prime example of all that is wrong with the securities Analyst business.

Captain,
$40 by 12/31 might be pushing things a little. However, I will be found dancing on the roof if it happens. January is a very real possibility.
