From Yahoo Msg Board: Fart,Ninjja,trottle up,and goinglond.We by: boxing_angel (36/M/New York) 11/26/1999 5:18 pm EST Msg: 118728 of 118740 will see in two weeks Yes I am short,thats a fact.I'm short 150,000 shares @26,I also very rarely short stocks .But this has to be the most classic short opportunity,Hugh long side w/ minimal short side,I always take the other side of the herd.Its rare that all the longs will win when so onesided as this,theres no short interest which is usually the catalyst for an upward move(short Squeeze).Secondly,It doesn't matter what Compaq grosses or How many PC's it sells ,its the bottom line that counts,shitheads and CPQ is not executing on all 8 cyllenders ,thats a fact.I have little faith that Cappellas can do little more than prior CEO's,Lastly the Digital deal has created confussion and there is nothing that will be done in the short term here,yea maybe in a year or so,but not now.Did you notice the way CPQ tried to slip in @7:30pm 11/24 the profit warning of 250,000,000,all the way into the 1st quarter,like knowbody would notice,a little sneaky ?nobody except CPQ would try a stupid thing like that.Does this sound like a company that great or a co. thats trying (or should I say "IS")manipulating gullable investors, NO WAY.Its the sign of a company thats fleecing its shareholders.I don't hate CPQ,I'm just in the business of making money.If I was long there's a 1000 better stocks out there than CPQ to buy.IF CPQ's so great as most of you morons contend then why is it down 40% on the year when the market is at altime record high's,I'll tell you because they SUCK.Plain and simple.two weeks from now when the Bears get hold of this market and push these record Index's lower do you think CPQ is going to trade highier?.I dont and I put my money where my mouth is,so we'll see who right and who's wrong.About these anal-ists that come on the box and say CPQ is going to 50.Do you think only bears minipulate stocks?,if you do then your an asshole,you have to take these talking heads w/ a grain of salt.They are working a piece ,to get you assholes to buy,as they are selling.Or did you forget that someone sells when someone else buys.Your all lambs bieng led to slaughter and I'm laughing out LOUD> --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
