Hi Confluence,

I have been searching for several companies that will (are?) be candidates for tax loss selling. I have SUF on that list. From your daily watching of the SUF market depth and trading, do you think the selling will be vicious (ie a couple of market sells knocking down the stock in large percentage whacks) or do you feel it'll be an 'ordered' sell??

Also, have you heard, or do you know, if management is preparing for tax loss sell season by talking to friends of the company to stick in bids below market, so the selling isn't 'merciless'?? Maybe some FM buying/support??

Tax loss season would be a good time for SUF to implement its buyback plan, I think.

Regards,
Dean

Dear Mr Confluence,

As I have explained to you in a private correspondence we have been conducting: nothing moves fast in Africa.

And do you seriously think that De Beers, presently engaged in a dispute with the South African Diamond Board, considers SUF's diamond valuation paramount to its own interests?

As for Camafuca. You may well have to eat your words.

Best wishes,

Crudestope.
