Doug, to every one surprise, we might even get a rally (after the morning knee jerk 5 bucks hair cut or so). I think that there is a strong possibility that any initial decline is going to be met with aggressive short covering. Zeev

Doug and all, re: Barron's trash talking: But even though top PC makers like Dell are still waiting to be able to offer the 820, the first techie reviews are hardly encouraging. Computer Gaming World reviewed the 820 recently and trashed it, arguing that they could see no performance gain for the higher cost. Likewise, Maximum PC magazine reported on its test of Rambus chip design in three different PC boxes, only to find no performance advantage. Either Barron's failed to mention the positive reviews coming from Sharky Extreme and from ZDNet's Gamespot, or they are being selective in their reporting. And so the anti-Rambus FUD builds ... As an outsider who knows a bit about RMBS, when does one admit that execution has been dismal? (all participants look like they could accept some of the blame) And if you accept this, then at what point do you move on to an investment where there is more certainty and even as much or greater upside potential? I have been reading bits and pieces of RMBS news, and, it's almost DEC, where is the full frontal 820 chipset assault? Just outlining some of the reasons why I got off the bus and why I do not want to get back anytime soon. Regards to all, MileHigh
