fuddle, I don't know how you feel about U.S. stocks, but, a stock suggestion: Brilliant Digital Entertainment (BDE) on the Amex. In the past it was a P&Der. Although it's price would appear to suggest it's on the dump end of things, it was holding around 6 on good company developments until the market dumped in late summer. It never recovered, but not for any good reason. It's simply out of favor at this time and should double on any decent news. BDE has proprietary technology for interactive animated movies over the internet and with DVDs and they are slated to supply Time Warner with "webisodes" of TW's trademarked characters such as Superman. They also purchased the Auction Channel a few months ago. Weekend Update Dec 4/99 It always amazes me how cheap some stocks can get this time of year. You think that one would learn but I was still early on CN.B and APQ. Sold JDX for a nice profit and bought more MAE and APQ at crazy prices. SUF had a nice pop on Friday. SOLD 12000 JDX for 17.0 BOUGHT 5000 APQ for 8.3 BOUGHT 5000 MAE for 3.5 PORTFOLIO 3500 CN.B 18.9 6000 SUF 14.1 2000 WSP 4.7 7000 APQ 11.6 25000 MAE 18.3 24000 PVO 12.2 ----------------- Total 79.8 Unused 5.5 ----------------- Total 85.3
