This thread will be dedicated to a basket of stocks that will be updated weekly. I tend to trade using all time frames (daytrading, position trading etc.) but these stocks will be bought low and held until they "pop". The time frame is not important but, as there will be a maximum of 10 stocks, the focus will be on situations where I see the best risk/return in the near future. Here is a loose criteria:

#1)As I said there will be a maximum of 10 stocks at any one time. A stock will be bought at a specific date and held until it "pops" or just becomes to lame to hold.
#2)There will be no price targets.
#3)I am looking for stocks that I believe have a 90% chance of rallying more than 50% in the next 6 months and have very little chance of going lower and staying lower for that time frame. In most of these situations it is hard to pick bottoms but stocks will be bought knowing that they could go up to 20% lower before turning around. Most stocks will be bought under $5.00 CDN
#4)I will start out with 100 pts...each pt. represents $1,000
#5)At times there will be unused points (cash)
#6)Portfolio will be updated every weekend
#7)Suggestions are welcome and please post your ideas/feelings about the picks
#8)This is just to have fun and hopefully make some money. This is a buy and hold thread.
