However Nintendo did detail the specs on the video portion of memory for Dolphin, but not on the main memory. Why not? Dan 3, I'm still searching for official word from Nintendo on their selection of main system memory. I still have not found anything and it appears that no one else has either. Up to this point everything is pure speculation. You did say in your post however, "Considering that any whiff of a design win is instantaneously broadcast in press releases by Rambus.." As you know often when a company is given a win they are asked not to make it public as part of the condition of the win.
