The only difference being that US citizens were killed by their own leader and his cronies. The others just had the misfortune of being ruled by the wrong people in the wrong place at the wrong time.

On second thought, I guess that holds true for the folks in Waco as well.

CT: Not surprisingly your errors in history are skewed to the left. Johnson was President during MiLai. The following excerpt from Time Magazine. Mi Lai: More than 500 people, many of them women and children , were slaughtered here by American G.I.s on March 16, 1968. NOTE WELL THE DATE

Nixon wasn't even nominated until the summer of 1968 and elected in the fall of 1968 and did not take office until Jan. 1969. The following article is from Encyclopedia.com in case you won't accept the correction.

"In 1968 he again won the Republican presidential nomination and, with his running mate, Spiro T. AGNEW, defeated Hubert H. HUMPHREY and George C. WALLACE. As president, Nixon achieved a cease-fire in the VIETNAM WAR,"
