Brian,

You also are trying ot make me the issue instead of my post.

Your comments about the "intended audience" actually proves my point.
There are brilliant Christian theologians, who spend lifetimes studying the scriptures and they come up with completely different translations and meanings. There is zero proof that your "intended translation" is any more correct than theirs. In fact, by following your philosophy that only some christians are "the intended audience" you admit that your translation may be the wrong one(since you have no proof of being the right one) and you run the risk of being eternally tortured by demons in a lake of fire.

According to you, theire are Christians who are well meaning, who belive that Christ is the one and only path to salvation, that may end up burning. The ironic thing is that many Christians would believe that your translation would be among the first to burn and there is no proof they are wrong.

You say that God would let those who wish and try to follow him, burn because they tried but could not understand. I say that is not any God that I would even want to follow. I would rather burn on principle.
