For everyone complaining about slowness in SI response times, there was an article (I think in USA Today this past week), that described Internet bottlenecks and problems. One of the areas specifically cited as being an absolute disaster was the Seattle, WA area. I forget the details of the finger pointing, but I seem to remember specific allegations regarding the telecommunications providers in Seattle, that was having the net effect (pun intended) of delaying or terminating all Internet traffic going through the Seattle area links. Aggravating the problem was the intense amount of Internet traffic going to Microsoft sites. I'm not making any excuses for anyone here, just trying to parrot what I read. Perhaps someone from the Seattle area could explain the problems they're having somewhat better than I have.

I have AT&T also.. But have a couple local numbers to choose from.. I have them all loaded and just disconnect change numbers and redial. It seems to help..

I agree with Kerry, it has to be a system wide slow down.. I think the explosion in online shopping for the holidays is the culprit..
