Too bad we can't post those nice tables here: suite101.com My question would be: "Has Agilent sold off or shut down all the under performing businesses?" Maybe we can name them along with the dates they were shut down and the revenue and income(loss) each generated. Here is a small list from memory: Business Date Closed Revenue Earnings Disk Drive Business $500M? $0 Microprocessors 1998? -$200M?? ->(loss leader to help Workstation biz look good) Avantek/CMCD 1998 I am not sure we can get a clear picture as so many internal changes occured at HWP to lower the overall cost structure. The real issue is the biz the different product lines are in NOW and what sort of growth will they see going forward? >Dang...tried to edit and the fixed width formatting went away and there is no option to check to keep it!
