spud...(do you spell that with or without an "e")..."going up...going down"

operative phrase in my comment, as you aptly reposted is "short term mentality"......on a volatile issue in a momentum mode, regardless of underlying fundamentals, there actually exists a correct time to enter or exit. qcom long term has much potential....but very risky taking chances on buying near term otm calls with the stock oversold....you lose the bet, and your lucky if you get "bargain basement"

qcom trying to back and fill and base.....curious how all the predictions of 600 by january are made during the manic times....if one went long and margined to the hilt at 400+, they may have a slightly unsettled view of qcom......

to reiterate, if you are going to play the momentum game best to wait until it slows a bit.......opportunity always returns, profits many times don't....

all comments made on "short term"......and anyone who regularly frequents these threads have a penchant for the short term, if true buy and hold mentality they would have better things to do!

good luck..ed a.
