The other is mostly from this thread, who say all sort of stuff like Intel is having production problems, Intel can't yield much higher than 750 MHz, etc.

It's only been a month since Coppermine's release. I know everyone wants things to work in Internet time, but one month?


Well... this thread's expectations of Intel's execution were set by PB's another broken record containing #1 hit titled "Intel's Stealth Performance". The record mysteriously disappeared with several other broken records (ex:"Bumped up Voltage", "RAS", "We are 2 - no make that 3 speed grades ahead", "can't get above 350MHz", "our process is 2 generations ahead", etc.,) after Athlons release, Intel's DRDRAM problems and Coppermine launch ;o)
