I am talkin about issues pertainin to the FUNDIMENTAL economy. The cold war ended the expenditures of Billions on defence and re-alocated those resources as well as thos people in the private sector. This is no diference from WWII or WWI. At the end of the day the day the US is the sinle Heomonic entity. Do not foret that a stock market bubble has never been the cause of INFLATION. It didnt happen in Japan or in the US in the 20's. Why would the fed think that it would now? The Japenese buble burst because the growth was built on speculation in Real Estate, and comparisons can be made. However I think this buble still has a way to go. It will take an external event to shock this market into submission.
