PS In answer to your question though I didn't hear anything.

Message #15218 from Michael M at Nov 30 1999 5:25PM

Anyone have or hear of 'net problems today? My ISP was barely able to function morning and early afternoon. The woman I spoke with said the problem was
affecting many on the east coast.....said something about "Winstar routers" being the problem.

My ISP was bought by Winstar about a year ago. Many more outages since. The last ones in November were 'due to switching to WinNT password servers' and 'due to a fire in a grain elevator adjacent to building and subsequent shutdown of external power grid'.

Stay tuned.. maybe time to move to another ISP.
