If I were with other women, it wouldn't be offensive, it would be other things. Weird, for example. (Illegal, too.) I'd call security on the assumption he was an exhibitionist who might not restrict his exhibitions to groups of safe-feeling adult women. Of course the women using the men's bathroom aren't displaying their genitals to anyone, and also aren't going in to pee when men are in there! Anway, single-sex public bathrooms are not a realistic possibility, imo, unless they are the one-toilet, lockable room kind. The reason (one reason) is that women fear rape, and avoid situations (lonely streets, elevators, offices late at night) in which they feel vulnerable. In the current climate, I think an innocent man might want to think twice about making himself vulnerable to an unfair charge in that situation. Many male teachers no longer allow students to close the door during private meetings, for that reason. If the situation we were talking about were reversed, though, and there was a long line of men and an empty women's room, it would be sensible for the men to post a guard, as women do when the situation is reversed, and use the facilities. Untidy though they are. This reminds me of a couple of odd experiences I had with exhibitionists. I'll tell a story about that in a little while.
