Ish's "salami" reference reminded me of a couple of the more bizarre experiences I've had with exhibitionists.

Once I was sitting with my husband and son on the subway. N was reading the paper. It was late at night, my son was little, and asleep between us, and there were very few people in the train. Sitting directly across the aisle from us was a young man with a large artist's sketch pad on his lap. (The pad was large, not the artist.) I noticed him looking at me, and soon he opened the sketch pad and began sketching, looking up frequently to study my face.

I was feeling self conscious, but flattered. I wondered if he would show us (though N was oblivious to what was going on) the sketch. Maybe even give it to me.

In a few minutes, the fellow did lift the pad, and slowly turn it around, so I (and only I; N was still reading intently) could perfectly view the detailed and realistic sketch he'd made of a large erect penis.

That's just one of my exhibitionist-or-frottage stories. This isn't really an exhibitionist story, of course, it being only a picture, and all. It was certainly shocking, though. I used to be shy.

<<If I were with other women, it wouldn't be offensive, it would be other things. Weird, for example. (Illegal, too.) >>

I guess I could have worded it a bit more delicately. Since women seem to use the men's room at times, and I have seen a woman walk into a crowded men's room to use a stool thereby shutting off 6 streams at the urinals, why should it be different for a man to use the lady's room?

One instance where I could picture this is say in a large building where the facilities are at opposite ends and it would be a long walk to unload those 6 cups of coffee. I would imagine that most men would prefer the walk so as not to be labeled as weird and also many might have a problem starting with several women listening.

I see it as a problem caused by too much equality between the sexes. In trying to make everything equal the simple fact that women go more often and take longer has been over looked. Women should have double the facilities but that wouldn't be equal.
