Richie,

Welcome aboard! Use CMGI's volatility to your advantage and average down when you get the chance. As far as I am concerned CMGI is the best Internet play that anyone can own.

Cheers,

Steve

Hey, I bought a ton @113 and watched it tank to 66 without blinking (okey - I admit I did blink a bit !!!). It did pay off. The worst thing you can do is sell this quality stock at a loss.....

Richie,

Congratulations on picking CMGI.

Kick back. There's no telling what will happen tomorrow, a week from Friday, or any other day. But long term this one looks great.

Richie -- At 170 CMGI eclipsed the high set in April of 165 1/2 presplit. The April high represented the high point of a run than began in early November, 1998, when CMGI was sitting at around 10. While it may not be as dramatic as that, we will likely see a good runup between now and April of next year. You have the growing recognition on The Street that CMGI is a major internet player and a good long-term bet, plus the three IPOs that will be set for January, February and March, with the March IPO being none other than the new, bulked up Alta Vista. Try to relax. It is hard for even experienced players to time a stock, let alone novices. Hang on at least through the Alta Vista IPO and I think you'll be glad you did.
