These actions may have occurred since Gen x turned 18 but in what manner can they take credit?...Were there demonstrations demanding such? Was there legislation passed by Gen x legislators that was responsible for any of the above? I think not. Are they actually taking credit for everything good that occurred while they were alive just because they were alive? What I do know is that most of these actions occurred while the baby boomers were in power,no? That is by and large many are the results of action by BB legislators.

Failure to Achieve

Los Angeles schools admit that without social promotion, 50% of the 720,000 students would fail and be held back. The rate of failure among whites and asians would be around 40% and more for blacks and hispanics. Interesting statement from a retiring UC professor that... interviews to test for racial bias on tests reveal all races agree on which questions are the most difficult and which are the easiest, which suggests there is no bias on the tests.
