Roll out box score as of 30 November:

It looks to me as though G* is officially offering commercial service in 10 "countries" as of yesterday. These include nine of the 41 listed on the G* web site, plus Romania, all in Europe, excepting Brazil.

According to an Elsacom e-mail from 26Nov (Post 17244 on Yahoo GSTRF board) Sat-mode only service is currently available in Austria, Italy, Germany, Romania, Slovenia, and Switzerland. For sake of doubt and giving G* the best possible score, I'll assume that "Italy" includes Vatican City and San Marino and Switzerland includes Liechtenstein.

Mexico, we know has slipped to January. No signs of life in Argentina or Central America or TESAM Europe. Some stirrings in Russia....someone there is duly posting Russian translations of G* PRs including last week's launch. Can't tell what's happening in Korea or China.

Well, the silence doesn't mean much, I guess. Brazil was pretty quiet, too, until yesterday.
