Jack...I just took a look at the web page for this NASDAQ litigation thing.
So they have around $1 billion to give out for people trading NASDAQ stocks between 89 and 96...seven years. I don't know what the average volume on the NASDAQ has been over all that time but lets assume two billion trades were made. So let's assume an award of 50 cents per trade minus lawyers fees of 30%...so 35 cents...if you made a thousand trades...$350!
What a joke. It would take me a week to dig out all those confirmation slips in the basement, log them on and...
forget it...
(which I assume the scum are expecting people to do).
Back to more important things.

OT - "abominable behavior NASD"

You are too quick to accuse. I made some trades during this period in more than one account. I received litigation forms from the class action coordinators, one for each account, with the name of the broker, the account number and the qualifying trades computer-printed on them, without even asking for it. No original documents or copies of the original documents are required. All I had to do was vouch for the data by signing the forms and mailing them. This must have been a huge effort for the coordinators of this action to pull this off.
