Likewise. I'm a little suprised at the light dismissal of the legitimate concerns of the protesters by some here. My only guess is that it is the bias of bad media coverage that is influencing them. You are the first I feel who is somewhat informed.

Seems to me that most of the demonstrators have a case of "protest envy." It's been so long that they've had anything to complain about, they thought they'd imitate some of the prior European protests and vacation in Seattle for the week. If they really wanted something done about their "causes", why not participate in the meetings instead of making a fools of themselves?
