because microsoft is just "sitting there" late today i sold december 95 calls for 1.6875 covered. i am moderately bullish and believe there is much less downside compared to cisco, sunw etc. as i've said, selling calls is not my favorite strategy, but i wanted the action and hope to keep the premium and the stock.

i exercised my sep99 45 jdsu call options and am holding dec99 72.5 calls and mar00 90 calls.

regards

Hi T2--why not just hold on? It seems a settlement might be imminent...if the mediation doesn't lead to settlement, then it'll be the same old same old for a while, but I'm optimistic.

OT: I've been following your posts with great interest over on JDSU thread. Yes, taxman is brilliant with his calls. I remember him saying he had some QCOM calls he bought at 9 that were worth 140, and that was a little while ago. I think he has more patience than myself! He doesn't mind holding onto them for a while. I'm trying to embrace that strategy.
