When I was a little kid we spent several weeks at a fishing camp in Canada. The problem with the outhouse there was it sat in a field of blueberries. The berries weren't the problem, the bears that came to eat the berries were. Some times they delayed getting to and leaving from the one seater.

I have always liked outhouses.
And pumping water.
And wood fires.

For about one week every few years.
If the weather's nice.
