Boy this is really getting brutal. Down another $1.25. I hope we are not setting up for a bunch of year end selling. it hoguht it was over, but maybe not.

Sure tracking stocks are gimmicks, although there are sometimes tax considerations that motivate companies to eschew outright spinoff. However, let's get real: What does an investor really own in common stock, since the common shareholders' interests come behind trade creditors and bondholders?
