oooh- I can get behind that. Or better yet ban football entirely and replace it with Masterpiece Theatre re-runs. I'd LOVE to see the Pallisers again, or Poldark.

I heard (confirming what Chris said) that Nike Town was vandalized on the news last night. If the Nike Town in Seattle is the same as the one we have here... and I suspect it is... then the facade is almost all glass. One or two guys break the windows and how many teenagers are going to be able to resist running in and grabbing a pair of shoes. I doubt the Nike Town vandalism was anything more than an opportunity that presented itself to one or two people... as opposed to a carefully planned "protest against the machine..."
