Meanwhile back on the farm PANL just announced some more patents, and thanks to them I can afford to buy my own lunch in Florida where I will be for the month of February. It is getting more difficult to decide how to place the bets on this LED roulette wheel. AXTI CREE EMKR UTCI PANL and thanks to you guys, GNTX ! Is this overkill or what is missing from this picture ? The AXTI is taking a beating and don't know whether to bail or double up! Any suggestions Regards WL

Thanks for the offer, John. It's a good thing we didn't wait to complete due diligence on their second generation LED technology! Proprietary technology, as they describe it in the press release, can be difficult to investigate. We've spent a lot of time on lift-off technology, and we still don't know what's under Kopin's hood. Perhaps Gentex has been able to use their expertise in conductive films to advantage? GNTX just happened to be on my watchlist because the chart looked like it might be bottoming and I knew it was a solid company. The kind with sales and earnings and the like. I do believe they're well positioned to capitalize on this, with their existing tie-ins. WT
