Frank, could you take a swing at this based on your long exposure to the @Home technology?

What are @Home's technical options for offering scalable QoS on the server side, i.e., to content providers such as web-desktoppers who might want to push their service outward toward the user edge?

Such a shift would mean that the @Home subscriber valuation would have to be reviseddramatically upward ... perhaps even beyond AOL's subscriber valuation.

Based on market cap, an ATHM sub is valued higher than an AOL sub...

AOL $10157.23/sub $182.83 bil/18 mil subs
ATHM $20150.00/sub $20.15 bil/1mil subs

IMO, because people see the opportunity the cable pipes (and @HOME) provide for many of the applications suggested here.
