Gibbons,

Don't you think this is an over reaction to someone that is trying to figure out why they are having trouble with their connection so the logged on with a lap top to see if that lap top was having trouble?

I don't see anywhere that he states that he uses both feeds constantly, in fact I know that he does not. This was a way for him to test and see what the problem is that he is having.

Seems to me you are a bit edgy for some reason other than Hal loading up QC from his desktop and a laptop...it is not like he was trying to take advantage of anything. He was simply trying on his own to find out why his QC experience is less than 100%. Apparently a great number of users have these types of problems and are garnering a less than helpful attitude and response from the company. I know the complaints are not always presented in the most useful and polite manner, but when someone tries to research their own problem they are dumped upon by a rule whose purpose clearly was not violated.

I hope you choose to reverse your decision.

-Scott

From what I've read here, Hal had no under handed intentions in what he did.. he was only trying to solve a problem and he, in fact, advised you of the problem.... considering the mitigating circumstances surrounding the incident, it appear unjustifiable in terminating his account... he did nothing in poor faith..... show that you can distinguish the difference between an innocent act of problem solving and otherwise.....

Gibbons Burke: Logging in from two different PCs at the same time constitutes a violation of the terms of your signed Real-time Agreement covenants with the exchanges and our terms of service, so your account will be cancelled at the close of business today. We will refund your entire month of service, including the exchange fees.

This is just plain BS. I think a warning would have been enough. I will no longer recommend your service to anyone.

Regards,
LG
