Steve, I have heard of the pressure cooker at Intel. It looks like they tried the "get 9 women, I want that baby in a month" approach on the copperminus to try to catch up with AMD. Still behind I see, still making mistakes. Still eating crow, big crow.

I made a post early in the year predicting that Sanders would end the year a hero, and Garrett would be the goat. I also seem to remember having a lot of ridicule heaped on me over this prediction.....;^)

There's no link that I can see on the web, but the print version of Electronic Buyer's news has a paragraph on page 8 in the Heard column quoting the "new vice president and general manager of its Platform Components Group", Louis Burns. He was CIO in June, can't tell when the change took place.

Good luck to him, he can't be having much fun right now.
