SI Admin (Bob): Frankly I think you have been doing a pretty darn good job of policing SI. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

This vote thing looks to me like the A@P vote, a forgone conclusion. So, how about shoring up the terms of use first by reducing the ambiguity. Also, violation remedies should be outlined before any voting takes place.

I for one think if the terms of use where made crystal clear and the remedies for violations where also made crystal clear, the need for a vote would not exist.

It seems like too many don't understand that SI takes that part of the TOU seriously. (maybe too seriously, but that's another topic) Very recently I saw a case where a suspended member started posting again using another account and very openly said "this is xxxx posting".
