Keyes has great ideas and is persuasive. He should run for congress. And so should Forbes and Bauer.

Good morning John! You think Bush did OK? I thought he was tight. I think he needs new material as well. He kept on using lines that were cribbed from previous speeches. It'd be nice to see a little spontaneity.

There is no media template for Conservative African American. They don't know how to deal with him so just igore him.

If there was a "winner", it was definitely Keyes. Too bad he's unelectable.

I didn't hear Forbes say he absolutely wouldn't reappoint Greenspan. Thought he said he'd have to have a heart to heart talk to nail him down on what he thought was a sustainable amount of growth.

McCain made a awful joke in horrible taste. Said if Greenspan died, he prop him up like the stiff in "Weekend at Murry's"(is that the movie name?) so people would think he was still in charge. Typical McCain.

Couldn't watch for long. The format was so stupid I got fed up after 10 minutes.

Seriously, running Keys may be political genius. At a stroke you would remove one of the democrats favorite weapons – demagoguing race. How stupid would Brazil's "white boy" remark look? They couldn't automatically take the black vote for granted anymore and would have to spend political capital to win it, potentially alienating other groups.

The press would be taken totally off guard. They'd have to throw out all their templates and might even be shocked into covering real issues. Would they dare criticize an African American's personality?

Al Gore v. Allan Keys may just be the dream race.
