The shame of it was that had the original proposal made more sense, they could have avoided a lot of this. As it was, they amended the proposal, and declared victory, when they might have gotten the same result with negotiation in the beginning. Also, instead of concentrating fire power on the Serbian troops massed on the border, or within the province, they essentially tried to squeeze civilians to achieve their results....You and I were pretty much the same on this point: it is Nato's mess, to retain credibility, Nato must clean it up. In fact, if memory serves, you and I were the only one's among our buds who took that position.....
