"I'll fire up the sniffer and quantify the traffic pattern of one or more of these sites ... so that we can compare them to other applications meaningfully." I'd be interested in your findings. But please don't forget to include my other qualifiers, which were: ".. in the presence of still-to-be-deployed applications, such as streaming video and full so-ho capabilities, under the prevailing HFC architectures.." ..in your overall assessment. You can't do that right now due to the very nature of the assumption, it being a future. One can only 'project' what the impact would be.
