BRKa is not in S&P is not because it is a holding company, the reason is liquidity, today's vol is merely 320, yes, it is 320, I am not missing a K at the end here.

There was an article from TheStreet.com last December to speculate which company would be added into S&P, among them brka, aol, etc. I made my bet on AOL, we all know now which one is in the S&P.

Among things to be considered: market cap, PE.
It is definately in CMGI's favor when PE is considered, but not if market cap weighs too much.

I bet that CMGI will have a legitimate shot at S&P next year this time when CMGI's market cap is hovering around 40B, just like YHOO before its entry to S&P.

Larry, very long CMGI.
