Mike,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Gemstar's fiscal year ends March 31. In that case, 1Q 2000 would have ended June 30, 1999.

I don't know how or when Gemstar recognizes ad revenues, or how the Apr-May-June quarter compares with other times of the year, but plugging in a consistent Y2000 run rate for the sheer fun of it ($1,600k) we're see ad revenues growing by a factor greater than ten year over year.

Assuming also TheStreet.com is right.

Many assumptions, lots of questions, but perhaps the glimmer of something interesting happening.

Cheers,

Climber
