it seems, mr. k, that many (most?) people are entranced by the ability to walk and communicate unencumbered. i think that whoever figures out how to do that with no more downside than a telephone will become the unrivalled giant that the telecoms were. you mention that there are interesting applications for free-air optical systems. - nice ring to that - free air. may i ask you what applications they may be?. there's neat story by maugham called mr. knowitall, he turns out to be a good guy. j
