Great question Dennis. I believe that my ISP setup probably contributes to my trouble free success. I have three separate ISP accounts and a three modem system on my LAN which is controlled by a device (not well known) called a webramp. It is like a cross between a router and a hub. It sits on my LAN and dials up the three ISP connections (56K each) and somehow combines the bandwidth and throughput using some kind of proprietary technology. Works great and has the added advantage of redundancy. When I started I used one ISP with a backup and standard dial up connections. Very flakey (comparatively speaking). Now if I lose an ISP momentarily (and we all know that happens just as you are nearing the exit on a marginal trade <g>), I never miss beat. The other two ISP's march on and the lost one dials up again automatically and reconnects. Real cool. Cheaper in my localle than ISDN as well.
