Current issue of Fortune (12/6/99) has a bunch of stuff relevant to our faves.

There's a little squib on the Q (p. 368), under the heading "Why Qualcomm is Burning Up the Street."

There's an article dealing heavily with NTAP (p. 370), under the heading "Suddenly Cache is King in the World of Net Stocks."

There's an article on the ERP sector (p. 250D), under the heading "Challengers Are Moving in on ERP," that closes with a hint that Siebel is the way to go.

And there's a new list, the "Fortune E-50 Index," that includes Cisco, Citrix, EMC, Intel, Lucent, Microsoft, NTAP, and Qualcomm among others.

Luke,

We shouldn't forget that our GG investing depends in large part on overall market forces. Most of our stocks didn't fare well last fall, and that was just a baby bear.

Yes, but gorilla gaming doesn't concern itself with short-term dips or spikes. It's all about long-term investing.

Luke, help me out, what stocks perform well in a bear market?
