Those protesters were there with good heart, Michael, trying to save endangered species and American jobs, protect children around the world from dangerous slave labor, and save the planet for your grandchildren. You may not agree with them, but they are attempting to do something which they believe will benefit you and everyone else. I read yesterday that some of them are being brutalized in Seattle jails, heads slammed against the cement repeatedly just for hugging each other, etc. If you believe this is wrong, perhaps you should protest that after you have finished cleaning up Seattle.
