Christine, all I know is I haven't been able to go ice skating under the space needle, and my six year old hasn't been able to see the HUGE train exhibit yet! :-)

Also, I hear that the local merchants are really hurting financially because of the Xmas buyers being scarred away from downtown. I would hate to see the same thing happen to Seattle that happened to D.C. Seattle, along with Honolulu, are one of the few remaining cities you feel safe visiting and having fun with the family.

I'm not going to let a bunch of, I-need-a-life-and-cause protestors ruin that.

Michael

Do you know what else I plan on doing Christine? I plan on going up to as many law enforcement officers as I can and thanking them for their efforts and hard work during this time of crisis.

Shoot, I may even buy one or two a Starbucks Coffee as a treat! :-)

"I read yesterday that some of them are being brutalized in Seattle jails, heads slammed against the cement repeatedly just for hugging each other, etc."

The cops should have slammed their heads with crowbars.
Slamming concrete heads against cement floors only hurts the floors.
