I meant to ask you Seattle people - whats wrong with Starbucks? I always thought they had a conscience. Is it the displacement of local businesses that is the issue or something more?

Michael, there is pretty wide agreement all over the planet that the Seattle police did not handle the civil disobedience very well, and that there were human rights abuses on their part. It is a major news story in the Sunday papers.

So I guess you are saying that police brutality--like the example I gave of the woman whose head was slammed into the cement floor of the jail repeatedly because she hugged another prisoner--is perfectly acceptable to you?

Clean yourself up a bit and wear your hardhat when you approach the Seattle cops.
