Craig,

SI may not be supportive, who cares? Your customers are. SI is merely the subject, your customers are the ones who want/need your product.
It's like saying that NBC doesn't care about a remote control TV tuner, but the people sure do!

"Especially when the SI administration has not been supportive of the product and may cause some serious problems for me if I proceed."

Excuse me! Are you telling me that you've been threatened for trying to enhance the SI product? If they don't want to endorse it, that's one thing, but it's hard for me to believe that they can legally tell you to not create an add-on for their product. Look at Palm Pilot - there are 100s of add-ons for the product and the developers don't need any sanctions from 3COm/PP to do it. I agree that for the product to really take off, it's obvious that an endorsement from PP would be very helpful - but I don't believe that PP can legally block anyone from developing software for its product.

All I can say is that I'm dreading the day that BM won't work - and we know that day's coming.

Craig, Without BM, I just don't know what to do... Please reconsider supporting new SI, for the benefit of all of us. In fact I really would love to have BM for Yahoo/MF/RB boards also.. If you allow me to say, I have no problems even paying a 4 figure amount...

Can you please let us know what you feel is a reasonable fee/number of subscribers?

Sometimes I imagine, Bryan's forcing the new inefficient, ugly looking SI interface on us, is more to do with his way to gain control over Dryer brothers. I am not sure, but you never know, I may be right 100%

Thanks,
DB
